It's easy to lose track of when your blades were last sharpened, and harder still to remember which hollow you asked for. This log keeps it all on paper, with a row for every sharpening, a tally of how much you've skated since, and notes on your boots and blades for the next time you're at the skate shop.

There's a page for your guards, soakers and laces too, and a short list of the signs your blades need sharpening, taken from our guide to when to sharpen your skates. It doesn't give you a schedule, because there isn't one that's right for everybody, but after a few sharpenings your own pattern is easy to see.

6 pages. US Letter, A4 and a black-and-white printer-friendly version, all in one download.

Good to know

Is it official?

No. It isn't made by or connected to U.S. Figure Skating or the ISU. It's made by adult skaters, for adult skaters. Rules change most seasons, so check with your coach or your event's announcement too.

Will it print on A4 paper?

Yes, there's an A4 version in the download. The black-and-white one is US Letter size, so pick fit to page if you print it on A4.

Can I share it with my skating friends?

It's just for you. Print as many copies as you need for your own skating, but please don't share or resell the files.
