As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. If you buy something through one of our Amazon links, we may earn a small commission, and it doesn't cost you anything extra.
Which links are affiliate links
The affiliate links on our site go to Amazon. You'll find them in some of our guides, on the gift guide, in the results of the boot and blade quizzes and on the blade pages in our boot and blade library. When one of those links takes you to Amazon and you buy something, Amazon may pay us a small commission on the sale.
We also have an Amazon storefront, where we keep lists of the skating gear we like. The Amazon Picks link in the footer of every page opens it, and so do the list buttons in some of our guides. Purchases made through the storefront can earn us a commission in the same way.
How we mark them
In our guides, a short note that starts with “Heads up” sits near the top of the guide or right beside the link, and it tells you the guide contains Amazon affiliate links. The gift guide, the quizzes and the blade pages in the library have a similar line next to their Amazon links. Each of these notes links back to this page.
How we choose what we recommend
When you buy through one of our links, the commission helps support Adults Skate Too, so we can keep writing guides and recommending products for adult skaters. We only recommend products that we believe are good value for our customers and meet our quality standards. Our picks are based on thorough research, our own experience and what's relevant to our readers.
Affiliate partnerships don't influence which products we choose, and we aim to give honest recommendations that we believe will help you. A commission doesn't change the price you pay, and it doesn't affect the objectivity of our recommendations.
