CCM includes their top-of-the-line D3O zero material in the XF model. D3O has a unique molecular structure which allows molecules to flow freely in standard conditions, giving the material a soft and flexible feel. On impact, the molecules lock together to absorb and dissipate impact energy, reducing the amount of force transmitted to your body. This means that the stronger the impact, the more the molecules react, offering you unparalleled protection.

D3O technology is strategically positioned in the XF model to offer the best combination of protection and comfort. In the calf, D3O material is partnered with injection molded foam. The Tacks XF shins have a length adjustable dual calf strap and an upper lock strap. These combine to secure the top and bottom of the shin pad to your leg, and the adjustable strap allows for some customization based on the size of your calf and the feel you’re looking for.
